Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Manager/Assistant Manager) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute, School of Public Health (Ref.: 530881) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ full-time relevant experience, preferably in tertiary institutions.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English, good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.  They should be able to work independently with initiative. Commitment to quality and accountability, as well as readiness for new challenges are essential. Candidates will less experience will be considered for the position of Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Assistant Manager).

The appointee will report directly to the Senior Manager of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute. Responsibilities will encompass financial management, including financial reporting, procurement, and claims processing, as well as event coordination, website management, office space planning, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate must demonstrate adaptability and proficiency in handling a diverse array of administrative tasks, in addition to fulfilling any other duties as needed.
