Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct research on topics related to agricultural system modeling and observation, environmental remote sensing, big data processing, and climate change risk assessment in agricultural systems.
• Design and refine research methodologies and instruments for data collection.
• Coordinate and manage data collection, analysis, and interpretation using advanced statistical methods.
• Support the organization of research dissemination events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences.
• Assist in the preparation of research reports, policy briefs, and academic publications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the project leader.

Requirements

• A Ph.D. degree in remote sensing, environmental sciences, geography or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant research experience in areas such as remote sensing, or crop model.
• An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively under tight schedules and meet project deadlines.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Other benefits include:
