Senior Assistant Registrar/Assistant Registrar in the Registry (Ref.: 532659)
 
We are looking for a Senior Assistant Registrar (SAR)/Assistant Registrar (AR) to join the Registry.
 
The Role
 
The appointee will undertake duties and responsibilities prescribed by the Registrar.  He/She may serve as Secretary of a Faculty or lead sections/administrative offices of the Registry.  Please visit http://hku.hk/staff/registry.html for the roles and functions of the Registry.
 
Qualifications and Qualities
 
• A degree from a leading University;
• Relevant administrative or management experience, preferably in tertiary education, for a minimum of 15 years (SAR)/10 years (AR);
• A proven track record of leadership and a high capacity for independent action with sound judgement;
• An excellent command of English and Chinese;
• Outstanding analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
 
What We Offer
 
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary.  Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.  Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
