IT Manager in the School of Computing and Data Science (Ref.: 532645), (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is highly desirable.  A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, including at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing IT infrastructure, large-scale technical implementations, such as High-Performance Computing clusters and GPU farms, software development projects, and website setup and maintenance using web content management systems.  Proficiency in Linux operating systems is essential.  Strong leadership and vendor negotiation skills are critical, along with proficiency in budgeting, procurement strategies and a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
