Research Assistant II in the Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole (to commence as soon as possible, on a 2 years fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in an Arts discipline plus at least 2 years’ working experience. Those with an advanced degree in art history, museum studies or cultural studies, and experience in exhibition-related work would have an advantage. They should also have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua, as well as strong organizational and communication skills, and proven design experience. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop, is required.
The appointee will be responsible for assisting with research on Chinese art, organizing exhibitions, and performing other duties as assigned. The appointee will report to the Deputy Director.
