Physiotherapist II in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 537366) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, and be registered with a valid Practicing Certificate from the Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong. Relevant experience and/or interest in clinical research, project coordination, or working in non-governmental organisations (NGOs) or with individuals with disabilities will be highly preferred. Candidates should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluency in Cantonese). They should demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, with the capability to work independently, multitask, and meet strict deadlines. They should also be attentive to details, self-motivated, and highly responsible.
The appointee will work for the “Jockey Club Health Programme for Adult Persons with Disabilities” under the supervision of Professor Kelvin Wang. He/She will work closely with internal and external parties to implement the project, focusing on providing physiotherapy support (i.e. conduct physical assessments, design and implement exercise plans for persons with disabilities). He/She will also support project execution and coordination, and perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
