Executive Assistant, FBE Pokfield Campus (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 537361) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Pokfield Campus is one of The University of Hong Kong's most significant strategic developments. Located at the junction of Pokfulam Road and Pokfield Road, the campus is being developed as a world-class environment that integrates learning, living, working, innovation and community engagement. Starting from 2027, the campus will open in phases, bringing together an innovative academic complex, teaching and learning facilities, a conference centre, sports and wellness amenities, staff and visitor accommodation, as well as dining and hospitality facilities. Reflecting HKU's longstanding spirit of diversity, openness and innovation, Pokfield Campus is designed to connect education, research, industry and the wider community. Key responsibilities
The appointee will provide comprehensive administrative, coordination and logistical support to the FBE Pokfield Campus team. The successful candidate will support daily office administration, meetings, documentation, procurement and financial procedures, project and operational records, events, move-in preparations and stakeholder coordination, with other duties as assigned to support campus development, opening readiness and ongoing operations. The role requires a service-oriented, organized and collaborative administrator who can manage multiple work streams accurately and professionally. 
 
Qualifications
 
Academic qualification
 
• bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Real Estate, Project Management or related disciplines.
Experience
 
• 1 to3 years of relevant administrative, secretarial, project coordination or operational support experience; experience in a university, large organization, hospitality, property, venue or project environment would be an advantage;
 
• experience in meeting support, procurement or financial administration, document control, event logistics or stakeholder coordination is desirable;
 
• good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua;

Coordination and Prioritization: ability to support multiple work streams, manage competing deadlines and identify matters requiring timely escalation;
 
Communication and Service Orientation: professional interpersonal and written communication skills, with a helpful and user-focused approach;
 
Teamwork and Stakeholder Support: ability to collaborate with colleagues, users, University offices, consultants, operators and vendors as well as a proactive, reliable and service-oriented administrator who enjoys supporting a multidisciplinary team in a project-to-operation environment.  He/she should be comfortable handling detailed administrative work while also coordinating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.;
 
Adaptability and Problem Solving: willingness to learn, respond to changing project needs and resolve day-to-day administrative issues constructively; and
 
Digital Office Skills: proficiency in common office productivity tools as well as AI tools for daily works and willingness to learn new technologies. 
 
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
