Manager (Alumni Services), Masters Programmes (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 537359) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 
 
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years of full-time work experience, preferably in tertiary institution, education sector or social service organization.  The ideal candidates should be a self-starter with a positive attitude; have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua would be a definite advantage); and be able to multi-task, attentive to detail and work well both independently as well as in a team. Passion for working with youth and young adults would be an advantage. 
 
The appointee will provide support to the Faculty’s Masters Programmes Alumni and Student Services Team.
 
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
 
• organizing alumni engagement activities, including mentorship programmes, local and global centre roundtable events, and other alumni initiatives;
 
• managing the mentor and mentee communities in a professional and effective manner;
 
• coordinating alumni souvenir initiatives and promotional campaigns; 
 
• overseeing alumni community engagement across various communication channels; and 
 
• performing other duties as assigned.
 
The appointees will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus, and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends, and travel to overseas or Mainland China occasionally.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
