Executive Officer in the IT Project Team in the Academic Support and Examinations Section of the Registry (Ref.: 537200) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills; and strong IT skills.  They should also be good team players, attentive to details, with the ability to multi-task, and to work independently with initiative and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.  Sound knowledge of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions would be a definite advantage. 

The appointee will join the IT Project Team under the Academic Support and Examinations Section, supporting ongoing system maintenance and enhancements, as well as the design and execution of UAT activities related to the University’s Student Information System and Degree Audit System.  He/She will also perform duties as assigned by the supervisors, including but not limited to student records management, course and enrolment matters, office administration, general liaison, handling email enquiries and event coordination.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
