Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (several posts) in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 537170), to commence as soon as possible for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
The project team is engaged in cutting-edge research on organoid-based virus research, dedicated to uncovering novel insights into virus-host interactions and developing innovative therapeutic strategies. The research focus of the team is development of monoclonal antibodies against viruses and virus-host interaction. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Fellow to join our dynamic research group.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in the disciplines of Immunology, Microbiology, Virology or a related discipline. The ideal candidates should demonstrate proven expertise in antiviral antibody development and microbiological techniques, together with a strong publication record and relevant research experience. They should have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research setting. The appointees will be expected to contribute to and lead research projects related to organoid-based virology and virus-host interaction studies.
