Multimedia Assistant (at the rank of Senior IT Assistant/IT Assistant) in the Faculty of Law (Ref.: 537163) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions or the education sector. Non-degree holders with substantial relevant working experience will also be considered. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with knowledge of Putonghua being an advantage but not essential. Applicants must be self-motivated team players with excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. They should be able to work independently, perform effectively under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. Applicants should possess solid knowledge and hands-on experience in audio-visual equipment management and multimedia production. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated competence in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, live streaming platforms, digital media technology, photography, and cartoon animation. Applicants with less experience may be appointed as IT Assistant.

The appointees will provide technical and operational support in multimedia development for learning design projects, including video production, maintaining learning environment facilities and services, and managing audio-visual equipment. They will also assist in coordinating events and activities organized by the Faculty of Law and perform other duties as assigned. Shift duties outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend a skills test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
