Data Coordinator (at the rank of Technical Officer) in the Department of Emergency Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 537142) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in data management, statistics, computer science, information systems, public health, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree will be an advantage. They should have proven experience in data cleaning and quality assurance, as well as in preparing technical documentation and data reports while managing workflows in a multi-stakeholder environment. Practical expertise with data platforms and tools is highly valued; familiarity with visualization/reporting tools such as is advantageous.  Proficiency in programming or scripting languages commonly used for data processing, such as R, SAS, Stata and Python, is desirable.

Knowledge of data protection principles and compliance frameworks, along with a foundational understanding of statistical methods and data analytics principles will be beneficial. Applicants should be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities are required to convey technical information to non-technical audiences and to build trusted relationships across teams. Leadership, mentoring capabilities, and a commitment to ethical data practices are important in a fast-paced project environment.
