Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS) is an academic research-support centre embracing multi-omics and big data biomedical research under the LKS Faculty of Medicine. The Role
- Oversee the daily operation of core facility to ensure smooth operation and high-quality service
- Provide technical consultation and guidance on experimental design and protocol optimization to research teams
- Supervise and train junior staff in advanced techniques and best practices to support the professional growth of the team
- Organize technical seminars, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events
- Assistant core manager in new equipment acquisition and core development
Qualifications and Qualities
- M.Phil. degree in Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline
- 8 years of laboratory experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of imaging equipment within a core facility
- Experience in establishing new core facilities/equipment, as well as demonstrated team leadership experience, is required
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to continuous technical skill development
- Self-motivated, responsible, and collaborative, with a strong inclination toward teamwork
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
