Applications are invited for appointments as Non-Tenure-Track Clinical Associate Professor of Practice/ Clinical Assistant Professor of Practice (several posts) in the Centre of Cancer Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 536792), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

The Centre of Cancer Medicine is a platform to facilitate the academic development of cancer medicine and oncology, and is created to foster collaboration among the cognate disciplines/ (sub)specialities within the Centre of Cancer Medicine/ School of Clinical Medicine, and with other Schools/ Departments/ Institutes/ Hospitals/ Colleges.

Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong, with a specialist qualification in Clinical Oncology/Medical Oncology recognized by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine or its equivalent. They should demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical service and teaching, and will be expected to help further strengthen the Centre’s teaching in Cancer Medicine across the broad spectrum of medical and health sciences education. While previous research experience or capacity would be advantageous, applicants are encouraged to participate in collaborative activities that foster cross-disciplinary synergy in cancer research and education in alignment with the Centre’s core theme.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointments will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits schemes, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. A monthly cash allowance will be offered to the successful candidates. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
