Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 536753)

 

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 536753) to commence on August 3, 2026, or as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

 

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Developmental/Educational Psychology or other related disciplines. They should have good academic publication record in developmental/educational psychology. They should also have the experiences of overseeing the implementation of a large-scale research project. Knowledge and experience in assessment development are desirable. Applicants should have a high level of writing proficiency in English and demonstrated ability in writing up research findings for both academic and general audiences, and be self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently and within a team.

 

The appointee will work on various projects related to children’s and adolescents’ mathematics and science learning. Duties include literature review, development of assessment materials, liaise with external parties, supervision of research staff and research interns, data processing and analysis, preparation of manuscripts and reports, development of new research initiatives, and other research-related duties as assigned.

 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
