Receptionist (at the rank of Clerical Assistant) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 536573) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)  
 
Applicants should possess a Diploma or above, with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; or min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and at least 1 year’s full-time work experience.  They should be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), with good telephone manner, great organisational skills, proficiency in PC and software applications including MS Excel and Word processing, as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure.  They should also be self-motivated, presentable, outgoing, and able to interact well with people from diverse cultures.  Fresh graduates with a good academic background will also be considered.
 
The appointee will provide counter services, answer enquiries, support facility management, serve as a relief clerk and provide other general clerical support at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
 
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
