Clerical Assistant/Office Attendant in the Department of Urban Planning and Design (Ref.: 536495) (to commence as soon as possible for two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
 
Applicants should have completed Form 5 or above with at least 2 year’s full-time work experience.  They should have a fair command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good communication skills and organisational skills, as well as basic skills in PC and software applications including MS Excel and Word processing. They should also be responsible, attentive to details, self-motivated, able to perform multitasks and to work independently as well as in a team.
 
The appointee will support the daily operation of the General Office, including office cleaning and maintenance, dispatching and receiving documents, operating and maintaining office equipment, and assisting with meetings/events.  He/She will also provide general clerical support including data entry, photocopying, scanning, filing, and perform any other duties as assigned.  
 
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  Applicants with less experience may be considered for the position of Office Attendant.

受聘者主要負責支援部門一般辦公室的日常運作,包括辦公室清潔、文件收發、安排保養辦公室設備,以及協助會議及活動的安排與支援工作。此外,亦需提供一般文書支援工作,包括資料輸入、影印、掃描、文件整理,並執行其他由上級指派的職務。
 
薪酬將按申請人之學歷及相關工作經驗釐定,並享有年假及醫療福利。工作經驗較淺者可獲考慮聘任為辦公室服務員。
