Technical Officer/ Senior Technical Assistant in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 536475) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science/Engineering, or other related disciplines with 1 year’s work experience, preferably in the education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; a strong sense of responsibility; good interpersonal skills; and the ability to work independently and in teams. Experience in the use of AI and VR for teaching and learning would be an advantage. Those with less experience, including fresh graduates, may be considered for appointment as Senior Technical Assistant.

The appointee will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of an AI and VR learning laboratory for students undertaking professional degrees. Duties shall include the preparation of apparatus for laboratory teaching activities, operation of electronic and audio-visual devices, and conducting maintenance and procurement of equipment. The appointee will also assist in the ongoing development of the Faculty’s various initiatives on educational technologies. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and/or an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
