Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 536473) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance) 

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or of a related field. They should be competent communicators with a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to keep their subordinates motivated to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. An excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. Substantial experience in project management is required, and a good understanding of the latest educational technologies would be an advantage.

The appointee will coordinate the application of novel educational technologies, such as simulation and Generative AI, in teaching and learning activities for professional undergraduate degree programmes. He/she will monitor the funding for various projects and manage the procurement process. The introduction of new initiatives will require the appointee to work closely with teaching and technical staff as well as administrators, and to engage with students. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
