Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine  (Ref.: 536379)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team on research projects related to gastrointestinal and hepatology disease areas
• Manage clinical trial projects, including subject recruitment, data collection, conduct assessment on subjects
• Process human stool samples and handle other biological specimens
• Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree with extensive research background, preferably in life science, biomedical science, public health or health-related disciplines
• Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R), literature review and excellent writing skills for manuscript preparation
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese)
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
• A strong sense of responsibility
• Strong troubleshooting skills and effective collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently with high motivation

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
