Admissions Officer (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 536101) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should:
• possess a good University degree, preferably with three years’ full-time work experience in student admissions or a related field;
• demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent teamwork skills;
• exhibit strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management capabilities to deliver accurate results under tight deadlines;
• have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
• be empathetic, kind, and approachable, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and support the concerns and needs of others.
The appointee will:
• assist with the admissions process for the Faculty’s undergraduate programme;
• handle procedural and administrative tasks, including the management of application forms, databases, and communications; and
• work closely with the Head of Admissions and the programme team to ensure the smooth operation of admissions processes and documentation workflows.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
