Executive Officer in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 535069) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ solid work experience. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good organisational and interpersonal skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills (especially in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are essential. Applicants are also expected to be attentive to details and be able to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently. They should also be good team players, with the ability to work independently and pay great attention to details.
The appointee will provide administrative support in handling of research-related matters, including but not limited to grant applications and management, management of research outputs and data, secretarial support to committees, matters related to research and taught postgraduate studies, management of external and internal events; other duties such as marketing collaterals preparation, database management and perform ad hoc and non-routine tasks as assigned by supervisor(s). Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
