Executive Officer in the Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good university degree, with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience in the higher education sector or a related field. They should have an excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. They should also have the capability to handle multiple tasks and work independently as well as in a team.
The appointee will provide executive and secretarial support to the Institute’s Director, including calendar management, travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, and coordinating visits and events; assist in the coordination of events and activities; provide assistance for general office administration, and perform any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
