Research Assistant I in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health (Ref: 535036) (to commence as soon as possible for a one-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree, preferably in public health, medical science, or related fields, with at least one year of work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. They should also be highly motivated, detail-oriented and capable of working independently.

The appointee will be responsible for working on documents related to research projects, such as ethical approval applications and progress reports, as well as performing administrative tasks as assigned. He/She will also be responsible for conducting fieldwork that involves communication with local participants and other relevant tasks. Work outside office hours or on weekends may be required occasionally. He/She will be expected to gain excellent practical experience in the medical/ public health field.
