Clerical Assistant (holding the functional title of Clinic Assistant) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534891) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have completed Form 5 or above. Possession of a certificate in phlebotomy, or completion of the “Health Care Assistant Training" or "Care-related Support Worker Training" course accredited by the Hospital Authority would be an advantage. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be responsible, hardworking, self-motivated, meticulous, and able to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks.
The appointee will assist in the daily operation of the laboratory and clinic, and provide patient care support to the Assisted Reproduction Centre at the University’s teaching hospital. Working outside normal office hours may be required.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
