Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Events Manager) in the Department of Architecture (Ref.: 534856) (to commence on June 1, 2026 or as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a recognized Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ solid work experience in communication, publication, event management, basic account management and/or other related fields, preferably in a tertiary institution. They should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, problem-solving and event management skills; proficiency in IT skills, able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They should also be a good team leader and player, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and ethics, hardworking, able to multi-task, and attentive to details.
The appointee will be responsible for the Department’s public programmes such as lecture series, seminars, symposiums, exhibitions, publicity, events and other duties as assigned. The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.
