IT Officer in the General Office, School of Public Health (Ref.: 534755) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, with at least two years of experience in IT-related work; or a Master’s or higher degree in a related field with at least 1 year of relevant work experience. Applicants should have knowledge or experience in web applications, programming with PHP or Python, Vue.js or React, prompt engineering, AI-assisted coding tools, Network Attached Storage administration, and PC or Mac system management. Applicants should have a strong sense of responsibility, good communication and problem-solving skills. They should be fast learners and able to work well with the dynamic teaching and research teams in a fast-paced environment.

The appointee will join the General Office and be responsible for deploying AI-powered tools to automate routine administrative tasks, document processing, and reporting; designing and developing web-based applications using AI-driven frameworks; deploying and managing AI tools for monitoring school websites; ensuring the daily operation of computer systems; providing support during local and international conferences and events; staying updated on emerging AI technologies relevant to the school's needs; and performing other IT-related duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
