Applications are invited for appointing as Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:534718) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary). Applicants should possess a Master’s degree with a focus on research in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline with at least one year ’post-qualification experience; They should also have competency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis; strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese). Knowledge and experience in using mixed research methods are highly preferred.
The appointee will assist the PI in managing, coordinating, and implementing research activities on evaluation programme, conducting literature review, automating data collection pipelines, carrying out data analysis and drafting reports, and performing other duties as assigned. He/She will have ample opportunities to work with social workers, multidisciplinary professionals, and other stakeholders in the local community. Those with lower qualifications and / or less experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I.
