Research Assistant II in the Centre for Psycho-oncology Research & Teaching and the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 534712) (to commence as soon as possible for a one-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in psychology, social sciences, public health, or related fields. Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese for effective patient interaction) is required, along with strong communication skills. They should be self-motivated, well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and able to work independently or collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, basic statistical analysis, and SPSS is advantageous. An interest in psycho-oncology research is highly desirable.

The appointee will support participant recruitment across various public hospitals, conduct questionnaire interviews, perform data analysis, prepare study documentation and reports, and monitor project progress. He/She will also contribute to cohort and intervention studies and undertake additional duties as assigned. On-the-job training will be provided.
