Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will actively contribute to research projects focused on osteoarthritis under the guidance of supervisors. Responsibilities include performing single-cell and spatial sequencing data analysis, as well as handling clinical samples for sequencing and flow cytometry analysis.

Requirements

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in bioinformatics, medicine, biology, or a related discipline, plus at least one year of research experience, preferably with experience in bioinformatics, and handling clinical specimens like blood and joint fluid. Extensive wet lab skills are considered an advantage. Priority will be given to candidates with strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese, including Cantonese. The ideal candidate should be organized, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
