Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant I) in the Campus Development Team of the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 534500) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good university degree, preferably a Master’s degree or above, with at least 8 – 10 years of work and supervisory experience in the higher education sector. Expertise and solid experience in campus infrastructure planning, facility and laboratory management is highly desirable.
Applicants should possess leadership qualities and interpersonal skills, as well as an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. They should be self-motivated with a high level of problem-solving and organisational abilities. They should demonstrate an outstanding track record in project planning and implementation of projects, with the ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The appointee will provide high-level strategic and administrative support for campus development and facility management. Key responsibilities include playing a versatile role in the strategic planning, execution and development of campus infrastructure; overseeing capital project administration; supervising technical and clerical staff; and performing ad hoc and non-routine tasks as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
