Part-time Student Research Assistant in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health (Ref: 534433) (to commence as soon as possible for three months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should be current undergraduate or postgraduate students. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), and good interpersonal and communication skills especially with elderly people. They should also be highly motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
The appointee will assist in the “Hong Kong Elderly Biobank” research project. He/she will be responsible for recruiting participants via telephone across territory-wide community health centres in Hong Kong, as well as performing administrative tasks as assigned. He/she will be expected to work during daytime on weekdays for not more than 15 hours per week. He/she may be required to work outside normal office hours/on weekends occasionally.
