Research Assistant II in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534408)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruit potential clinical trial participants.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and study visits in compliance with the clinical trial protocol.
  • Conduct standardized data collection from the hospital system and the patients.
  • Conduct data management and labeling
  • Assist clinicians and research staff during study visits.
  • Provide administrative support, including billing coordination, report preparation, and document submission.
  • Support research operations by preparing study materials and equipment as needed.
  • Assist in drafting and updating research ethics applications under the supervision of the principal investigator.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree related to medical/health disciplines
  • Clinical research experience is preferred 
  • A good command of spoken English, Chinese, and Cantonese
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
