Multimedia Development Officer (at the rank of IT Officer) in the School of Clinical Medicine, LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 534265) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia and Visual Communication or a related discipline with more than 2 years’ professional work experience in motion graphic design, animation, shooting, editing, camera operation, basic lighting, sound recording, and sound effects. They are expected to have demonstrated capability in storytelling and the ability to meet multiple coinciding deadlines; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites, particularly After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop, Final Cut Pro X and/or Adobe Premiere Pro; the ability to manage workflows and supervise co-workers; the ability to support all stages of production as needed and to develop/maintain video style guide as well as branding standard; proficiency in English reading and listening; and strong communication skills. Knowledge in front-end development language and e-learning software such as Storyline are definite advantages.
The appointee will implement e-learning projects, including online courses, graphics, animation and video production, etc.; be responsible for video production and post production; produce, shoot and edit footage according to scripts, storyboards or general guidelines; handle a project from idea to completion and tell a visually compelling story with creative editing and sound effects; manage Moodle and Panopto tools to support course delivery and video integration; and implement and manage video production schedules.
