Clerk I / II (several posts) in the Maintenance and Operations Unit of the Estates Office (Ref.: 534252)
We are looking for Clerk I/II to join the Maintenance and Operations Unit of the Estates Office.
The Role
The appointees will be responsible for preparing various documents, including letters, memos, reports, purchase orders, quotations, tenders, and invoices. They will assist in preparing presentation materials, conducting data entry, and serving as Help Desk Support to handle general inquiries. Additionally, they will supervise and liaise with direct labour and contractors, schedule meetings, provide clerical support to the team and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Qualities
Applicants should possess:
- A minimum of 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (at least Grade C under Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), and Mathematics; OR a minimum of Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE, including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics, with at least 6 years of relevant clerical or supervisory work experience; OR a recognized degree/diploma with not less than 4 years of relevant experience.
- Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua;
- Hands-on knowledge of computer applications;
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to attend to details (including figures) and work independently; and
- Solid work experience in tertiary institutions, construction-related organizations, facilities management industry or accounting firms would be an advantage.
Those with less experience or lower qualifications will be considered for appointment as Clerk II.
What We offer
The appointments will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.
