Technical Manager in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534239) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Medical Science or related disciplines from a recognized university, with at least 8 years of post-qualification supervisory experience in ophthalmic research management. Knowledge of database management and ophthalmic device maintenance, and/or experience in congress presentation will be preferred. They should also be well-organized, responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated, and capable of managing a multidisciplinary team.
The appointee will oversee several large-scale research projects and assist Professors in grant applications and manuscript submissions.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
