Executive Officer in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 534230) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree with at least 6 to10 years’ full-time work experience in administration, preferably in a tertiary institution. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English (with an overall band score of 7.5 or above in IELTS or equivalent) and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese); good organizational, interpersonal, innovative, communication and problem-solving skills; computer literacy; and be able to work independently and under pressure. They should be good team players with the ability to handle multiple tasks and be attentive to details. Experience in large-scale project management would be an advantage.
The appointee will participate in a large-scale building project. He/She will provide administrative support in construction project management, budget planning, implementation of the project tasks, monitoring work progress, and will coordinate with various parties including consultants, internal user groups, and in-house bodies in relation to project execution; and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
