Executive Officer in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 534208) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, with at least 4 to5 years’ full-time work experience in large-scale event and conference management. Previous working experience in a tertiary institution or public organization will be an advantage. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese); good organisational, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, computer literacy, and be able to work independently and under pressure. They should be good team players with the ability to multitask and be attentive to details.
The appointee will support the planning and execution of a large-scale international conference scheduled for June 2026. The appointee will provide comprehensive support for all aspects of conference management, including logistics, venue /catering arrangements, speaker coordination, and attendees’ management. The appointee will also support other academic exchange activities and other related administrative duties for the Faculty’s Area Academic Administration Office. He/She will also perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
