In November 2024, the University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) was appointed as the operator of GBAICTI. In December 2025, the Real-World Study and Application Centre (RWSAC) was established under GBAICTI to open up local health and medical databases and promote collaboration between Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

We are now seeking a high-calibre professional to join the RWSAC (located at Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone) as Manager (Project Management & Business Development).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Report to Director (RWSAC) and lead project management & business development for RWSAC.

  • Establish a standardized project management framework for all RWSAC activities, from RWE studies to platform development.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor the portfolio of RWSAC projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage resource allocation, and identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Serve as the central point for project status reporting, providing regular updates to the Director and key stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient resource utilization and financial accountability.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Business Development, Analytics, IT, and Finance teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Health Science or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, project management, clinical research, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple concurrent tasks, and self-motivated.
  • Strong IT proficiency and project management skills.
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese (proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage).

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and/or an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

The University only accepts online application for the above post. Applicants should apply online and upload an up-to-date C.V. Review of applications will start from January 30, 2026 and continue until February 22, 2026, or until the post is filled, whichever is earlier.
