Applicants should be qualified language teachers who possess a university degree or equivalent, and can demonstrate a proven interest in language teaching.  They should preferably have a recognized postgraduate qualification, at Master’s level or equivalent in Applied Linguistics or a related discipline.  They are expected to have at least 3 years’ post-qualification teaching experience, preferably at tertiary level, or relevant professional experience.  The Centre is specifically looking for candidates with competence in the following areas: (i) teaching academic literacy and communication skills at the undergraduate level; (ii) embedding digital competence and multimodal communication in teaching practice and materials design; and (iii) supporting student learning beyond the classroom through blended-learning and digital resources.
