Applications are invited for appointment as Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) (Ref.: 534154), to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.  

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related field, demonstrating a strong commitment to research.  A proven track record of scholarly publications and research accomplishments is essential, with a preference for expertise in wireless communications and networking, photoelectric control, robotics, and AI. The appointee will play a key role in establishing industry partnerships, leading research projects with direct practical applications, and securing industry sponsorship.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of the gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.  Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
