Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care (Ref.: 534132) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Health Sciences, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline. They should have a strong command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, Chinese, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to multitask, work independently and collaborate within a team.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in project management or coordination within a healthcare setting. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in health research are also encouraged to apply. Both full-time and part-time positions (with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week) are available. Applicants with higher qualifications and/or substantial experience may be considered for a Research Assistant I position.
The appointee will be involved in the coordination of research projects evaluating health services delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and manage research activities related to health services evaluation
- Liaise with stakeholders, including healthcare providers and research collaborators
- Oversee project progress
- Assist in participant recruitment and data collection
- Prepare research reports,
- Perform other duties as assigned
