Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534121) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably with at least 3 years' relevant work experience in tertiary institutions.  They should have excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various parties; a strong sense of responsibility; and the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.  The ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and attention to detail are also essential.  Proficiency in PC applications and software (including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), along with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is required.  

The appointee will provide secretarial and administrative support to the Director of HKU stroke.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to, coordinating the recruitment of research staff, handling financial and accounting matters, managing budgets for research projects, coordinating activities related to research postgraduate students, arranging conferences/meetings; managing travel logistics, assisting in organising events, scheduling appointments, and managing the director’s calendar.  He/She will also support office administration and perform other duties as assigned.
