Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in a collaborative research project on the development and widespread implementation of a telerehabilitation platform using AI.
- Involve in the development, implementation of the platform, as well as integration with multi-modal data from electronic health records, medical images, and sensor data from wearable devices
- Responsible for writing up results, training and supervising students and junior staff, preparing manuscripts, drafting and submitting competitive internal and external grants
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A Ph.D. degree, with a strong research background in biomedical engineering, rehabilitation medicine, bioinformatics, epidemiology, biostatistics, big data analytics or artificial intelligence analytics
- A good command of written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated track record of publishing academic research papers
- Self-motivated, hardworking and able to work well in an interdisciplinary team

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
