Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant II in the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) (Ref.:534092) (to commence as soon as possible for at least 10 months)

 

About the Role

The appointee will support a cross‑disciplinary feedback project (“the Project”) aimed at promoting GenAI-supported student–teacher feedback partnerships in higher education and enhancing student feedback literacy. He / she will report to the Project Investigator at TALIC and will work closely with the students and teachers from other faculties.

 

Key Responsibilities

Research Assistant II is expected to:

  • Conduct research activities, including literature review, data collection and analysis, and report writing,
  • Provide administrative support for the project team to facilitate successful attainment of the project outcomes,
  • Organise, prepare, and promote seminars and workshops under the Project,
  • Aid the team in producing project deliverables, and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, Social Sciences, or a related discipline with experience in higher education research,
  • Experience in event organisation and project management,
  • Experience in collecting and analysing both quantitative and qualitative data,
  • An excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua),
  • A high level of computer literacy, especially in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, and
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
