Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Arts (2 posts) (Ref.: 534057) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should hold a good Bachelor’s degree and have at least 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in academic programme administration within tertiary institutions. The ideal candidates will be self-motivated, demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, collegiality, and flexibility, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong computer literacy and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required, with fluency in Putonghua considered an advantage. Proven experience in undergraduate/taught postgraduate programme administration and curriculum development will be a definite asset. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II).
The appointees will provide administrative support for the Faculty’s undergraduate/taught postgraduate programmes, in the area of admissions, programme administration and development, student matters and advising, committee servicing, and other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
