Executive Officer in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533989) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in social work, counselling or a relevant discipline, with at least 1 year front-line work experience preferably in community-wide mental health/ youth projects. They should have excellent project management and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; and basic IT proficiency in system management is preferred. Experience in financial management would be an advantage.

The appointee will provide administrative support for the capacity building stream of a youth mental health project. He/She will coordinate project events including capacity building trainings/ consultation sessions and other ad-hoc events; provide secretarial support for meetings; assist in the development of protocols and guidelines; maintain effective communication within the project team and stakeholders; keep track of all project documents; and perform other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours may be required occasionally.
