Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Assistant Manager, Student Affairs) in the School of Computing and Data Science (Statistics and Actuarial Science Division) (Ref.: 533861) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, with at least 3-5 years’ administrative experience, preferably in the field of tertiary education. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and strong computer literacy. Experience in editing and publishing, with knowledge in software such as Microsoft Office Publisher, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator would be an advantage. They should be collaborative team players with good organizational, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, attention to details, and the ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
The appointee will work in the Statistics and Actuarial Science Division, responsible for overseeing the Professional Development programme for students, as well as internship programme, alumni affairs and outreach activities of the Division. Job duties may include but are not limited to networking with alumni/employers for internships, publicity and media matters, and any other duties as assigned.
