Senior Executive Assistant, Academic Area Administration (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 533798) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
 
Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, or min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with 3-5 years’ full-time work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution. They should demonstrate a strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; excellent presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills; and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with a high degree of independence and attention to detail. Proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage. They should also be effective team players, capable of working collaboratively with a team of supporting staff to achieve work objectives. Those with a bachelor’s degree will be offered the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant.
 
The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the six Academic Areas within the Faculty’s unified structure, with a focus on undergraduate (UG) and research postgraduate (RPg) course administration. He/She will assist the supervisor in collaborating closely with the Faculty Office and/or Programme Office to support faculty members on various UG and RPg teaching matters, including but not limited to timetabling, course outline collection, classroom allocation, tutorial arrangements, and exam-related activities. The appointee may be assigned other duties as required by the supervisor.
