Clerk II, Masters Programmes (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 533762) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a higher diploma or above, with at least 1 year of full-time work experience in programme administration or a related field. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good organisational, communication, project management and problem-solving skills; passion for working with students from all backgrounds and cultures; and computer literacy are required. They should also be detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task, and work well both independently and in a team, as well as under pressure. Those with a bachelor’s degree would be offered the functional title of Executive Assistant.
The appointee will support the administration and operation of the Faculty’s taught postgraduate programmes, as well as student admission, such as providing information to prospective candidates, handling and processing applications and admissions offers, and arranging interviews. He/She will also perform other duties as assigned. The appointee will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus and may occasionally need to work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
